Overview / Event description

In this session, we will explore the rationale for and the benefits of using assessment as a learning tool, looking at how it can be quickly and effectively implemented it in your classes. We will also look at how to best engage students in the feedback loop.

 

Objectives

- Determine why formative assessments are important
- See how quick knowledge checks can be used to make lessons more interactive AND allow you to gauge students’ progress in an automated way.
- Reflect on the pedagogical role of assessments.
