The flipped classroom is the perfect tool for the rapidly changing information age. Yet, it has never quite caught on in Higher Education. Confusion surrounds the method, and fears around engagement can lead to people avoiding using it. But flipped learning has too much going for it for the sector to continue to largely ignore it. In this session we will explore the keys to making it work, including consistency, long-term planning, and scaffolding. You will also be introduced to a range of practical methods of implementing flipped learning in your module or course.
